Poppins is the only corporation that produces food for our domestic animals. We consistently prioritize the welfare of household pets and contribute to our community through various projects and sponsorships. We continuously create awareness campaigns for animal protection while also supporting various initiatives for the benefit of domestic animals. Poppins Support for Dog Shelters
By remaining faithful to our mission and vision, we continuously contribute to various social projects So far, 20 shelters for dogs and cats have been assisted with Poppin food and supplies.At the same time, we have supported many initiatives that benefit street dogs and cats through funding and donations to various projects that support their well-being.
Sponsorship of Dog Festivals and Shows by POPPINS.
In addition to helping dog and cat shelters, along with donations to various projects that help their well-being, Poppins is also a general sponsor of Dog Shows organized annually in Kosovo by the Kosovo Kennel Club. These shows are dog competitions CAC national, CACIB international and Special Kennel Events for native breeds. Meanwhile, Poppins is open to supporting the organisation of such events.
Community service projects
Poppins has reached an agreement with the municipalities of Pristina and Ferizaj to implement the project of feeding the stray dogs. Feeding stations are designed and built in the most crucial parts of the cities frequented by stray dogs. We supply these feeding stations, on daily basis, with Poppins food and water. We intend to develop this project in other municipalities as well, in order to have a positive impact on:
- Reducing the aggressiveness of stray dogs - According to many studies, it is emphasized that dogs become aggressive due to the lack of food, therefore providing food and water for them reduces their aggressive behavior, thus increasing the security of citizens.
- Cleanliness of the city – It is worth noting that waste containers are the most appealing location for stray malnourished dogs. During their search for food it comes to the distribution of waste which is very concerning for residents, therefore by providing them with food and water, the cleanliness of the city is also preserved.
